I AM MINISTRIES of MIAMI-DADE / BROWARD INC. (I AM) is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 ministry that was incorporated in 2003. Brenda and Thomas Dawson, its’ founders, recognize the blessing of their 56-year marriage and note that is filled with some invaluable life lessons to share with families today.
Our Mission has always been directed toward sharing God’s unconditional love across all religious denominational lines. Couples are provided pre-marriage and re-focus marriage
counseling. Marriage workshops and conferences can be provided upon request.
A primary focus is positively influencing the moral values and lifestyle choices of women and girls in today's families. I AM works with schools and other organizations to provide strategic programs, events, and opportunities designed to address this objective.

“DIVAS Destined for Greatness” (DDG) has touched the lives of many young ladies in Miami-Dade /Broward communities over the past thirteen years. One of I AM’s most significant events is the Divas on the Path to Greatness Gala. This event highlights the participants' accomplishments and helps raise the funds needed to provide opportunities that promote our program services.

Divas with a Dream
is dedicated to high school teen girls who are in pursuit of knowing who they are and what their future holds. Regular gatherings to create experiences and opportunities that help them shape their future lifestyle, educational and professional choices.
Women Empowerment Hour
This program establishes a forum to address most of the issues and concerns impacting a women's personal and professional life. Through interactive sharing and the use of current resources positive options and resolutions are uncovered. Participants experience a self-actualizing energy that enables them to obtain desired changes.

Thomas and Brenda were high school sweethearts and have been best friends for 60 years. We have been married for 57 years, we are grandparents and great-grandparents. We are a living testimony that marriage can be a “Lifelong Love Affair”

Divas Destined for Greatness 2022 Gala
Please mark the date as Saturday, November 19th at 12:30 pm. Tickets are $55.00 per person. The Early Bird special before November 1st is $50.00. The event is a luncheon showcasing our girls and their talents and a scrumptious meal, raffle, and silent auction prizes. Divas Destined for Greatness / Divas with a Dream Weekly Mentoring Meetings
The program is designed to create an intergenerational relationship between teenage girls, young adults, and older women. Regular interaction and bonding between the generations of women encourage pre-teen and teenage girls to uncover their personal relationship with God. They discover how that relationship reflects their self-image, attitude, knowledge, and skills along with problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
